encountered before such situation once ...
if you have purchased emergency row, the row number might have changed, since is a different aircraft ...

they do not switch on the ife ...
just treat as normal scoot aircraft, but with slightly better leg space perhaps ...

Scoot sent a second email yesterday updating that my return flight timing will be delayed and touch down after midnight. Will probably shun away from Scoot from now on

if u have purchased your travel insurance
you might want to use that email to let them know that your flight timing has been changed, hence affecting the insurance policy travel period ...
if they allowed, they would refund u and let you purchase a new policy
or they would change for you for additional charges perhaps ...

yup, scoot has lots of stories of flights delayed etc ...
having said so, there would still be many people flying with them ...
if can choose, would fly on jetstar instead with higher on time rate ...

they allowed us to change to +/- 7 days departure and arrival dates. or full refund ... in the end we have chosen to fly another date, which is on ph period ... not so bad ...

Depends on heng suay .
best to buy travel insurance before they start to make changes to your flight, if there is flight changes ...

Suddenly change their BKK flight schedule two days before my departure from afternoon to late night and my returning flight from late night to early afternoon. Very pissed off as my connecting flight to CNX is affected and CSA refuse to help me ended up i message their station manager to help me settle.

but still so many people flying with them haha ...
budget airlines would always be full of people making noise.
but in the end still many people flying, coz the prices is still much lower compared to flying full fledged airline for most routes ...

The planes are always packed - and pay cheap then you get cheap rude people generally. From service to other passengers. That’s why I always try to TOP up for a more premium carrier when I can afford it. For me the journey is part of the holiday

This I agree... Especially if Budget vs Full service flight is not too far apart in pricing

I used to take the 7am scoot from sin to hcmc for work but ever since they start to charge extra fees for this, that and everything else... It just make perfect sense for me to go for vn air which is just $50 more

depends on heng guay ...
nowadays budget airline generally have about 90% on time rate
maybe scoot is an exception, always lots of delay

there can also be times where you are flying on full fledged and the flight was delayed ... do happens, but not frequent ...
