Sometimes have to take into consideration the group of people you are going with. If going with children, might consider taking full fledged, since there is iFE to keep them entertained ...

most would go for budget, due to the price ...
many who are in the travel forum tends to book budget airline tickets with good prices ... Though some might consider taking full fledged to area such as japan korea etc ...

i take budget airlines only for flights below 3 hours.

Scoot is excellent whenever i want to visit malaysia or vietnam but sometimes Scoot is only slighlty cheaper than SIA if I make last min booking.

E.g. KUL-sin one way
Scoot with baggage RM200+
SIA RM306

SIN-HCM return
Scoot $200+
SIA $280

I’m same also - below three hours I use safer budget carriers. No point spending for comfort for such a short flight

For me 3 hours quite Long already.... plus I find you get nicer people on more premium carriers. You watch difference in passengers when land and seat belt sign turns off ;-)

Yes and they need to improve on their customer services. The same trip when i flying back, the FA incharge shouting at ground staff near the aerobridge with regards to 2 NTL pax onboard which is not good to let the public know about it.

It's pre-assigned. The planner will seat passengers according to load distribution.
