Anyone get Toggle to work on Sony Android TV?

Hi, I got Sony X850D, manage to get Toggle (Media Corp App) APK file version 3.0.9xx to installed but it display vertically on the TV. Anyone get this works in Sony TV? I know LG is officially supporting Toggle, anyone got the APK file from LG?

Install Set Orientation, it works on my Sony BRAVIA KD-65X8500D

Thanks for the information. I will try it out on my TV later. I tested on my phone, able to set the orientation, but on TV which step I should do first? launch this application first or launch the Toggle first? You set the orientation to which one? I saw quite a number of option.

For LG, user do not need the APK file as it is officially in the LG store. Just click with the magic remote to install and then open it to watch. It is so simple to use.

Orientation follow by Toggle.

Set it to "Automatic (full)" and click Ok. You only need to do it once. It will remember the settings even if you restart the OS.

I download the apk file for 3.1.2 (which suppose already the latest version). After install still the same. I restarted the TV (on/off turn off power and on again). Yah, I tried installing the 3.1.2 but it kept saying there's a new version and redirect me to Google Play Store which is also having 3.1.2.

I deleted the app since I already have Toggle installed on my Apple TV.

IC, thanks for the feedback, think toggle don't want to let other TV brand use their Apps

I also cannot install Toogle apps onto my Sony Tv.
Kept asking me to download newer version.
Any expert can help?

It is not recommended to do that as it may void warranty. Some Tv not that cheap.

The cheapest way is to get android Tv box.

Toggle downloaded from Google Play into Android TV box cannot play video. You can install but when come to play the video, nothing happens.

yea toggle has yet to fix the issue of not being able to play in android tv box. already feedback to them many months ago...

i think it is Sony fault because i can play from my phone and Tv. Recently I have the new Toggle app updated.

Can download from apkpure.com. do a search from google will be able to see the link. BTW the current version 3.1.2 is not working on Android TV. Only LG TV officially support Toggle at the moment. Not sure about any other TV brand.

Alternatively can cast it from phone to Sony TV. I used this method, am also using the Sony x850d
