Anyone get Toggle to work on Sony Android TV?

Alternatively can cast it from phone to Sony TV. I used this method, am also using the Sony x850d

Any difference betweent cast and screen mirroring. I couldn't cast from my Sony tablet to my sony TV but screen mirroring works perfectly. But then the image qualities look horrible poor

I never used screen mirroring before so can't comment on that.

For cast, whenever I used Toggle and cast on the TV, the quality is as excellent. I used it often during the Olympics, cast toggle channels on my phone to TV.

It meant your Chromecast is faulty or wifi signal is poor.

the "cast" function r tried from my handphone and tablet. My wifi signal is generally good. I could receive wifi signal for my whole home and even up to my lift Lobby.

Where to get the new apps file?

Google play store. If still having issue just call Sony Support for help. They can work with Toggle to release newer app.

Recently google updated the chromecast app and the firmware for the Chromecast itself so the image quality improved a little bit. Audio is louder too.

Am using a Sony Android TV and watched toggle with no issues so far. but recently, it stopped working & downloaded the latest version & side install onto my Sony Android TV. It can install but the video does not play. Tried to play the 9pm show but doesn't work. It works on my phone. Anyone manage to get it working?

Please take note that toggle app works with wireless connection only, under lan, it can't do live streaming

I have 2 Sony TV. The one in the room is a lower end 40" W series with no Android. But the red button links to toggle.

Ironically, my X8500C in the living room can't get toggles apps from play store.

For Sony TVs, Toggle Red button is only available if you are tuning into Mediacorp DVB-T2 program. It is actually an URL link to toggle video page.

Think Samsung and LG has toggle as default installation. In fact I under Samsung Q series use toggle by default so you can actually play back program you missed some minutes ago (catch up or something like this). Hardly use it bit I know function is there.

Sony tv itself you press one button can access to Toggle Red already. No need toggle app.
