So far any luck?
With the 三从四德 thingy……

My current gf embodies all this qualities and she is local and very beautiful. The price you have to pay though is you got to be rich enough to make such demands.

One example on 三从四德, if i tell my gf now i am not please with what she is wearing today. She will changes her clothes without a second word to suit my taste.

Hmm, u have a gf?

My guess is you comes from either the lower or middle income group. And your social circle is limited to that.

Last but not least, u have never encounter the truly wealthy people in Singapore before.

I make it clear to my girlfriend before we start dating that i expect her to sacrifice her job if the need arise for her to stay home. I make it clear that i am looking for someone who embodies the traditional values of 三从四德,相夫教子.
There are some girls that are against this, but i am fine with it. End of the day it is about finding the right fit for your life. Beside i am able to give them a life that they can only dream of, so if they want to pass on this. I am sure there are others that are willing to take it up.
:sneaky:
PS : Never sacrifice a whole jungle for a single tree that don't reciprocate.

hey how much u earn oh?

All the ultra successful ones, usually have an equally successful wife.

Husband is PM, wife is CEO of sovereign wealth fund.
Husband is DPM, wife is CEO of National Heritage Board
Husband is CFO, wife is senior partner at law firm
Husband is CEO of tech company, wife is principal at asset mgmt firm (both are Harvard MBA grads)
Husband is deputy chairman of oil company, wife is executive director at bank

and the list goes on....

As for me, in my opinion, i would rather ask my spouse to go work than stay at home.
double household income is better than single household income.
why?
cos of many uncertainties going forward.
and jobs are insecure and can easily company ask us to go.

It's ok, just give within your means. You still have a family of your own to provide for. Is your wife working?

unless one earn five figures and able to have maids to help out.

Honestly I can't understand why people do that, especially if the wife has high earning power. Thought it will be good to earn and save more money in your younger years, to prepare for aging, caregiving for elderly parents, unexpected financial needs etc.
