Hi guys, if i buy the $8 plan from 8 mobile it got this below
so if i go malaysia i got 12 GB data roaming per month?
Yes, eight will utilise the 10GB APAC Roaming first before using the 2GB Int Roaming.

In my recent trip in Vietnam - I left 1.2 GB Int Roaming cos the 10GB APAC Roaming fully used up.

1) Sign up with their retailers: SIM Activation is immediate. Sign-up online, opt for mail delivery: SIM needs to be activated within 14 days based on the date you signed up.

2) One-off payment. If you want to set up recurring payments for CC. Need to login to 8's MyAccount to update the payment method. Auto-recharge is enabled by default. Good to double check in case it's disabled accidentally.

That's all I know. Hope the information is helpful. 🙂

if port-in from giga to eight, how long will it take if i sign up and do it at retailer?
If i go to and sign up retailer at 8pm on 30 December 2024, can the porting in be completed before 31 Dec 2024 2359?
Will i still get the free 8 dollar credit? Thanks.

I choose to disable the auto renew function so I can choose when to use back the plan within 60days grace period

Try sending an SMS to the number and check if you receive it.

If you receive the SMS, it confirms that you still have control over the number.

You don't have data access because no payment has been made, but if SMS can still be received, it means the number is still under your control.

Or try logging in to the number from the web portal.

that number the sim card i re-insert into the phone how many time cannot register on network

knn that 60-day grace period is not just a grace period for credit, but the grace period for the service and number also... wtf.

i am considering porting out the other number (also previously the 88 day free plan, but did not renew)

Oh then not your number anymore. Can try to email eight. Maybe your number is still in the pool.

If lucky can get back

LOL. You expect Eight to keep your number free of charge forever even though you did not pay them a single cent?

You must be living in lala-land.
