Do take note that for Biz Mgmnt, there are quite a number of projects, its not just pure studying... thus your time management is veri impt.

What is the job scope like?? In some companies, BA are actually working with enchancements to the IT system... will need more details from you.

You dont need to know econs and finance to do the above.... just a biz degree will do.

So maybe i can briefly tell u what i understand from them and myself

biz mgt:
Lotsa theories based. Strangely hardly any foreign visit. Quite a bit of assignments, grp and individual


econs & finance:
(base what i understand when my friends share with me)
Quite a bit of calculations, ALOT of foreign visit. My friends just had full 2 weeks of rmit lecturers' lessons. Dun rem hearing them having many assigments.

The part abt econs and finance are quite true.

- 1st 3 weeks of lessons are conducted by RMIT lecturers, the rest will be conducted by local lecturers.

- quite well balanced between theory and calculations but of course, it also depends on what subjects you are talking abt.

- had only 1 project per year, one individual-based, one team-based.

everybody has to start from somewhere, it will be up to radioshack to find his way in.

hmm... I don't think its an issue for that kind of switch. Moreover, I used to study from Electronics Engineering (ITE) to Information Technology (TP), its also an industry switch.
I believed I am able to undertake that sudden change.

To me; I am someone who don't own any 'O' lvls certificates; To achieve my goals, there are ways to attain, jus a matter of time and how determine you are.

Who's in the July intake (44th intake) for part time degree in biz mgt?

What course do you specialize in?
- Human resource management
- Business Finance
- Marketing

Any Intro? If got, part time in entrepreneurship will be better!

I have thought of that before, but last year I jus graduated from poly, no where to go, but still need to think how to survive, might as well get a job to cover-up my expenses hole, before i can think of switching to a more relevant job (towards to what I am pursuing), and in the meantime, gain more working experience.

Actually, in the first place, i never thought of furthering studies, until I seriously looked into today's market. Very high expectation in individuals.
High spending = pocket BIG hole = High quality living.

Sometimes do feel that I'm stuck in the bottom-neck. 'Upgrade' is all I can think now, as for now.

Slowly bah.. Now, the big headache part was; whether I am good in;

or
