Spent $388 never even get my $88 rebate (it has been at least 2 months)! Last year with ANZ Travel Card Christmas promo, spent >$10,000 never even get any bonus Travel$ (as advertised with their promo) even though I registered and received confirmation. Called up their helpline to check where my Travel$ went to and the CSO ask me which promotion, where is it online etc. 3 months after the promotion online has ended of course no longer on website - then she said she can't locate the promo so can't help me.

Caution to all, best to take a screenshot if participating in their promo. Their CSOs are completely useless and this is two times this bank has not awarded me of my benefits. Very very disappointed.

u sign up via online or ? For me i sign up on their road show, they have the form that u filled up de, cos i called to check for something before and they take a few days to retrieve the form and call me back. that form will state the current promo etc

you should have called to waive the annual fees first. once waived, then cancel... now you're gonna be stuck with the annual fee which will not be waived at all since you already cancelled your card.

Ya I called them to waive first then cancel. They say will be calling me back to cancel when the waiver comes in. But it's been a week :/

I got my 88 optimum dollars liao.

I got the card on 17 May, spend over 388 by 16 June (first month), got 88 credited on by 2nd statement (statement date 18 July).

Takes 1 month after spending to credit the 88 rebate.

Now crossing my fingers for the $150 rebate for GSS. Must wait for 45 days after 14 July to see if I belong to the first 2000.

not sure about this , if i recall why i nv sign for this card is, the promoters for this card informed me that if u are holding on to other anz cards or cancel any anz card before , the 88 optimum dollars may not be available to u.

- rebates suck
- no internet banking
- $88 must wait until 8 weeks from day you spend $388 (stan chart and citibank's sign up offers so much better)
- need to go their stupid website to "redeem"

Empathise with your frustration, but have you done the forensics why your rebates so little? Eg you think the shop is 5% but in the end only 1%

It's your mistake, not the card sucks.
The card gives me promised rebate for my spending so far.
U need to cancel the card fast, so that lesser ppl using the card, the card benefits will remain for long.

Internet banking is available now, suggest that you do your homework..or better still, like the guy above me mentioned, please cancel your card fast fast so less people take advantage of it and the benefit wont be removed!

Internet banking is available now, suggest that you do your homework..or better still, like the guy above me mentioned, please cancel your card fast fast so less people take advantage of it and the benefit wont be removed!

The recent internet banking upgrade made me start to use ANZ cards again.
