It has nothing to do with road show or not. If the bank is willing to accept lower salary than what is published, they will do so regardless of where you apply.

Like this act smart friend of mine who earns $1,500 a month and told me if he applies at road show for sure can get since they are "desperate" for his business. What he forgot is his annual salary only works out to $18K and there is no way he can get an unsecured credit card unless its a $500 limit one. :s8:

To me, the card's 5% cashback for your selected category and 1% for everything else is not bad. Only thing to be careful is they round DOWN the Optimum $ so for e.g. if you get 0.99 Optimum $, it is round down to ZERO so you get nothing! Even if you get 1.99 Optimum $ its round down as 1 Optimum $.

Also, you can only redeem in batches of $50 which means unless you spend a lot, if not it will take forever to get enough Optimum $ to redeem for $50.

one more thing to take note. the so-called "cashback" is in Optimum$ points. So it is very different from uob one and ocbc 365 whereby their cashback is a direct deduction in your next credit card bill. everytime you wish to claim your Optimum$, you need to submit a request with your card and personal info via the ANZ sg website. SUPER TROUBLESOME, especially in this time and day, whereby every other cashback card is doing a direct cashback in cash.

and whats your main spending area? groceries? f&b dining? travel?

So after 35 pages, this card can apply anot?

Take note on the details of each category:
DINE:
restaurants, hotels, bars and cinemas.

restaurants and bars will be a little tricky, because ANZ will honour the 5% rebate IF the merchant codes given to these companies belongs to the restaurants and bars merchant codes.

you can choose to get this card or the OCBC 365.

for groceries, you can go for Maybank family

365 has minimum spend.

Maybank card is good if you spend lots on groceries because for other items its only 0.3%. At least with ANZ its 1% for the rest.
