Any min spend to qualify for the 5%? :s22:

Not really. Just that need to spend min $2 under the 5% category to be able to earn 0.1 optimum$, and at the end of the month optimum dollar earned in the month is rounded down to nearest optimum$

10. Optimum$ will be computed and accumulated daily. Optimum$ will be computed based
on transaction posting date and will be rounded down to the nearest 0.1 Optimum$. The
maximum amount of Optimum$ that may be awarded for a Retail Spend shall be 30
Optimum$.

it says Optimum$ will be computed "daily" and rounded down to the nearest 0.1 Optimum$.

I've 2 transactions on the same date and assume they are both posted on the same date:
transaction A = 0.12 Optimum$
transaction B = 0.38 Optimum$

do i get "0.5 Optimum$" or "0.4 Optimum$" for that day? the latter number was rounded down before adding.

thanks.

My understanding is that the rebate for every transaction is given in quantum of $0.1 only. The cents won't appear. So it should be $0.4

Yup, optimum$ computed from each transaction posted is rounded down to the nearest 0.1 optimum$. Optimum$ computed are summed up daily. At the end of the month, the daily sum are totaled. The actual optimum$ awarded is total amount rounded down to nearest 1 optimum$

Does the 5% grocery rebate also apply to online stores like NTUC, Redmart and Cold Storage?

frustrating - poor customer service

Vending my anger a bit over here...

The customer service really sucks big time at ANZ. I expressed interest in this card in mid Oct 2015 and then requested the customer service ppl to call me (because I just relocated from overseas back home to SG so income documents and company provided accommodation is not so straightfoward). 2 days later, no one called. Ok, nevermind, I proceed to apply online. A week, later someone from ANZ emailed me to provide some extra documents and I promptly replied with documents on same day. No news for a few weeks, then I called, and they suddenly said they need CPF contribution (but why didn't they ask until I chased them?!). Again, provide the info via email. Again, no news yet, its been 1.5month. I fulfilled all the requirements for the card, also don't know why they take so long. Called them a few times, and even wrote a complaint letter which website claim to revert in 2 days (been a week now), but no one seems to know. Very frustrated. Any one has similar experience??? Or does anyone know their office contact number at mapletree business city?

Really feel like giving up this shitty Optimum card and I foresee future enquires (assuming I got the card eventually) will also be handled with such disgraceful customer care. But for a frequent business traveller, I worked out the 5% rebate on hotel and dining can be quite attractive for me. So bo bian...

For me, its company expenses, I claim the whatever SGD amount it is. So I get full 5% benefit mah.. :o

Btw to get the 5% under the "dining and leisure" category for hotel accomodation, you will probably need to book and make payment directly to the hotel instead of via websites like hotel.com, expedia, booking.com etc.

Lol, charge 6 times? Imagine charge lesser times.
When does this card change to express interest? Never felt a need to keep ANZ cards, except travel card for lounge:)
