Created the impression of undersupply

Some people queue 3 days in advance of launch day Nov 3

Hundreds of people camp overnight on 2 Nov

Thousands of people log in at 3pm on 3 Nov to buy and agreed
to get only 2-4 weeks later

BUT IT IS ALL A BLUFF

Apple Orchard releasing fresh stocks everyday

song bo.

PS I am apple user

They didn't fool anyone.
Everyone believed those (arm chair) "analyst" said and fell for it.
Dealers/Grey Market kept hyping up the prices claiming there's insufficient stocks.

Even though people who logged in at 3pm to get an estimate of 2-4 weeks later. The estimates have been shifting. And if you've purchased stuff with Apple before, they're known to not stick to the estimates.

it's either earlier, on the dot and hardly ever later than the estimates.
The AirPods were extremely good example. It was a 4 weeks estimate but almost everyone was receiving theirs by the second or third week.

If you want to blame, blame the scalpers/dealers who were fear mongering to drive up the prices/demand of the market.
The ones who buy more than what is required.

In fact, Apple doesn't want anyone to queue.

I pitied the people who "lacked breathing space" compromising basic dignity.

Apple store employees could have said, "don't worry, we will have new stocks everyday"

But they didn't.

People have queued for nothing

I they have said “they have fresh stock everyday”, do you think anyone would believe?

Those who Q and got it early morning and flipped it are lucky. Whether worth it or not is relative. ;)

The "discount" you're gian after is exactly the exclusivity they thought they have but they are betrayed.

ah beng shop is even selling below RRP now
