Did anyone manage to add their Apple pay with UOB One Debit Mastercard?
It keeps giving me "service unavailable, try to verify later" when I try to add and verify this card.

Also even though the express transit card is enabled on one of the cards, I'm still asked to do FaceID login to enable the use of the card for public transport.

So jialat this phone after the os15 update. Using ip13p

Don't think there's a limit as long as is within your credit limit

no, i am using physical card but thinking of using apple pay so no need bring wallet go out, so want to find out more first. do you think is best to bring out card or jus apple pay in all purchase??

put it this way, hardly use physical card nowadays... and apple pay safer than physical cards because of the need to authenticate

but that said, you cannot assume every place accept credit card. so wallet would probably still be a need

There might be bank specific limit. I use gpay and recently when paying a $400+ transaction, pay using HSBC card on gpay fail but it went through using an UOB card.

the way to go is contacless mobile, storing most of my commonly used cards there. and i always carry 1 physical card for standby purpose bcos there are places that don't do contactless or simply that day the contactless is down. some well-established hotels and restaurants are still guilty of not having paywaves. a watch shop i visit (old shop) accept credit card but not contactless simply cos his terminal is still the good ol' ones.

question, i have jus added my citibank credit card on apple pay in my iphone 13 pm, wan try tml morning for bus and train ride, dont want to cause any jam in case any issue..

when i double press my standby button, it came out my card on screen, so i jus tap on the gantry is it ...? or i mus use face id also..? do advise

What you can do is, when the bus is about to arrive at the bus stop, auth it first. the auth should last for sufficiently long for u to tap it.

Express Transit which allows usage without FaceID is not available in Singapore yet. so no
