Used at Andersen, works.
The cashier dun know what is Apple Pay, so I just told her paywave, and it worked on the same machine.
Found the Apple Pay quite fast, faster than paywave, instantly see transaction reflected on the phone.

When your phone screen is off, just place the phone near to the terminal and it'll auto light up with the wallet screen up and running

But if u added in multiple card and u want to choose a card which is not the default card to pay....u can't use this method right?

U have to open the wallet app and choose the card

Is there a way to use Apple pay for $150 transaction, or the maximum is capped at $100 (same as paywave transactions)?

Just to confirm DBS/POSB card member is limited to just $10 for $50 spend on Apple Pay transactions, not $10 for POSB and $10 for DBS card?

UOB has lifted the cap of $100 for select merchants; the other banks did not say anything, so presumably will follow the $100 limit per txn

Yes, the Starbucks breakfast set is totally worth it!
Before this promotion , I was strictly a Macdonalds only kinda guy.

The pastry of Starbucks is also more ATAS and tastes much better, as good as the breakfast in 5 * hotels. The texture is on par with French pastries.

My only gripe is that the default coffee of both Starbucks and macs tastes like crap.

even without the promotion, the starbucks breakfast set is much more worth it than macdonald.

but normally i will use citibank card to top-up my starbucks card then buy whatever i want from starbucks using the starbucks card.

in the US, you can add the starbucks card to apple wallet too.

Apple Pay works for me wherever have pay wave machine.
On the receipts it stated: Paywave / Cashless Visa. (I set singpost Visa card as default)
Guess Apple Pay will work as long as you can use paywave.
To let the cashier understand straight, just say paywave, it works for my Apple Pay so far.

No need to physically open the app. When in sleep mode just click the home button twice. Your default card will appear and you can change it then. Subsequently, place your finger on the home button to activate and put the phone on the terminal

20k now.

Think still got chance for first 20k now? My assumption is that not *that* many people have used Apple Pay yet... It's per bank, some more.

It's first 10k. Stated very clearly in clause 8 of the SCB tnc

Highly possible still within 20k, for all the merchants I went, no cashier know about Apple pay can work on their so called 'pay wave' machines.

My guess is iphone users are lesser than android, and dbs/uob has much bigger customer base than scb.

If you lose, you prob lose 5% of $250 which is $12.50 but you could win 20% which is $50 if you happen to be still within 20k.

So payout odds is 1:4. So this calculated risk is worth a gamble I think.

Furthermore, I guess few ppl would participate or bother to learn how to use a new payment method except bros from here, and my guess for here should be less than 1k registered as not all are iPhone users, adding other non-forum guys I guess now is still far less than 10k, so it may take more days or even weeks to really hit the 20k.

Besides, the change of t&c to me shows that SCB or Apple wants more ppl who participate to get the rebates to familiarize the new payment method, cannot only give a few ppl with rewards based on scb past promo pattern, and I have never been counted outside the first x k customers promo from all banks except once for CIMB promo. People are usually over concerned about first x k customers promo.
