I was on phone with uob yest after spending $10 and they did see my applepay txn which was done barely on the hour ago.

It depends on which bank the merchant is using.
Eg, Ntuc - OCBC cc holders transactions is posted same day.
You can tell for the 'tapping device'.

The cashback offers are operated by the bank per customer (not per card) and Apple doesn't know or care about such things.
DBS and POSB are combined though so you can only get from one.

I summarised the launch offers here if you would like to read more.

wondering if we can use apple pay in other countries that also support apple pay??

Still need to activate card for overseas use, if not, it wouldn't work right?

On a side note, I tried using Apple Pay at ajisen through "paywave" and it works as stated by most users.
Wallet is also activated when I was tapping the bus ezlink terminal.

One thing weird is that, one transaction is shown on the wallet transaction but not at the setting transaction.

Edit: the transaction is shown on both place now. Guess it takes time to update 😂

Should be ok without overseas activation. Overseas activation just means that the credit card network accepts your card's magnetic stripe - you can use the chip without activation.
Magnetic stripe still used in the US and a lot of ATMs

Yes, I just bought $250 of Sheng Siong vouchers with Apple Pay , splitted into 3 bills of 100 100 and 50 using Singpost card.
