Apart from airplay, what good does the new one has?

(I have the 4K version)

Netflix is standalone tv app.
disney+ and meWATCH loaded onto Apple TV.

Think the target audience is the non-4K Apple TV users.

other than that, jus better processor and new remote. not much to miss for current 4K users~

Non 4K users.
Don’t have App Store already right?
Can’t even download Disney+ leh

it’s really an airplay box only.

Yeah, if you are on Apple TV 3 (2012, the one that got discontinued recently, i guess its time to move on)

im on Apple TV HD (4th gen, 2015). Lasted me for quite long now, have a 4K TV recently, so im eagerly waiting for the ATV 4K refresh. Yeah, it's 270SGD, very expensive compared to other devices, but i like tvOS.

There could be a Pro version targeting gamers with A12X/Z chips and comes with a gaming remote.

No way. Directional buttons are kinda retro...

jus swipe man.

Apple brought back the directional buttons together with the iPod wheel style for scrubbing. good on them.
