Jus tried calibration on Apple TV 4.

Need to get close and with a stable hand.

The color profile seems warmer. Will check out a show tonight whether I like it or not.

I am not sure if that means youtube netflix will be accessible in China or its just by the way.

In any case, it's always good to see support for china local apps like iQiyi and Tencent Video support on China.
Don’t think will have Netflix and YouTube.
The Apps for Apple TV is geolocked like iPhone, so their Apple ID can download only China approved apps, but can probably sign in with another ID from another country to download and use with VPN to load YT or Netflix.

Same thing here on my TV as well, it's warmer than my previous TV settings. Does that mean that I have been watching "cooler" films and shows the whole time???

Yes that’s right. China doesn’t even a Apple TV App Store yet. I am assuming the app eco-system needs time to build up too.

it’s quite popular now in China to rely on v2ray ssr for YouTube and Netflix access on their PC or smart phones.

Note that for Dolby Vision content, the picture setting will revert to Dolby Vision setting even calibration has been done. The calibration does not support Dolby Vision.

Yes, the "correct"/accurate colour usually looks warm to most of us because most of us are used to picture that are tuned a lot cooler.
