Just bought the ATV4 in HK (HKD1188 bout SGD220). Plenty stock everywhere. Guess LeTV and Xiaomi TV more popular .. Haha.

Is it possible to stream youku in the browser mode or does Apple TV4 support AirPlay video from iPhone/iPad?

Dear all,

Anyone managed to get the ATV4 for the past few days from retail store. Went to a few authorised seller like epicentre, istudio and nubox who says that either stock is sold out, stock has not arrived or that have to get from online store as retail store will only start selling 2 weeks later.

There's no browser mode in apple TV. Maybe there will be 3rd party browser apps in the future.

You can airplay youku videos from iPhone / iPad to the Apple TV.

Apple is well known for its perfectionism.

By the way, If Apple is planning to roll out Siri to other countries, why apple go through the trouble naming the remote as "Apple TV Remote" instead of just one name: "Siri remote" for all countries. This not only troublesome, but also create confusion for customers.
Because they might face lawsuits if they sold a product that does not work as advertised.

Can use iwebtv for browser mode streaming just like Google cast

Any idea when Kodi will be available for Apple TV?

MrMC will be out on the app store first. Then the optimisations it made for ATV will be rolled into Kodi for you to self compile and sideload.

MrMC Nov, Kodi depends but I would be surprised if it wasn't available by the end of Dec.

Not sure about Simple-X but Infuse can and it's coming to Apple TV very soon.

It can stream from SMB / NAS / UPnP / DLNA and play Dolby Digital Plus (AC3/E-AC3), DTS & DTS-HD audio. No need to install Plex or anything on your NAS.

http://firecore.com/infuse

I had Infuse Pro on my iPad and love it. Great that's it is coming to tvOS - just hope it will be universal app

Yeap, this is an awesome app and I've it on my iPad & iPhone too, just waiting for it to be launched on ATV4.

Just received this email from Infuse.

Infuse 4 for Apple TV will be a free update for all current (v3) Infuse Pro users.

Infuse beta is coming next week! Hooray! You're one of the lucky few that will have a chance to try Infuse on the new Apple TV before anyone else.

You'll get a separate email from TestFlight once the beta is available, but in the meantime, you can learn more about using TestFlight to install pre-release apps.
