Quick question. I've got some good BDRips with 5.1. And using Infuse. My Bose receiver shows that the movie is played in 2 channels only. Is this a problem with my receiver or basically with Infuse ... or Apple TV 4?

How do you enjoy 5.1 sound from the Apple TV 4?

I believe the issue lies with Infuse. Simple check, open the youtube app on the ATV4 and play one of those 5.1 audio samples. Your receiver should show it is receiving 5.1

The full version of Kodi appears to be working better than Infuse at the moment. If the youtube check shows 5.1 is working, sideload Kodi.

Is it correctly rip? My friend handed me a BRrip then in the end, I found out he rip as stereo accidentally

This morning tried one of those "helicopter" demos with 5.1 on Youtube. The Bose still shows its LPCM 2.0.



My settings in ATV4 .. its auto.
Unfortunately my BOSE does not have much config to choose.
Its the new Soundtouch 520.

Any Apple product. Even a simple Smart Cover falls under the return policy. They can afford it because they keep all profits from selling to you direct so it all works out in the long run.
