The lightning cable included in the package is for what huh?

Cannot sideload kodi yet coz my MBA is on Maverick, got to upgrade to at least Yosemite then can install Xcode 7.1.... sianz

I tried out the VLC, while playing some MKV, AVI files, there is no sound, is it due to codec?

y dun u upgrade to El Capitan?

yes likely codec. iirc VLC removed AC-3 codec support...

That tine upgraded to Yosemite but found my MBA became sluggish and my dlink usb mobile broadband dongle cant work anymore, so downgraded back to Mavericks and never bother again.

A bit sianz, doesn't work as well as I expected. Kodi is my last trial, if still not good will return.

El Capitan is much better than Yosemite response wise. not sure about drivers for yr dongle though...

May I know how did you guys create the free developer account? I used my current Apple ID, or created a new Apple ID, both do not allow me to have the provisioning profile after I login to Xcode.

Very frustrated now!

Let me know if the PLP addon works for you. I tried it in an earlier build of Kodi for tvOS and it didn't work. I didn't bother updating Kodi yet as it seems the build on the 7th Feb with the working TopShelf has a number of other issues so decided to wait.

Nope, not working, think it only works on Helix or lower.
