Is international. That I can 100% confirm as I help my colleague to buy and so unlucky she got a lemon set. She can't charge it. So send down to Apple Orchard to get it fix.

I did not get Apple Care.

S3 or S3 cellular?
Cos I think I remember seeing post saying Apple only able to exchange models that the country is selling.
Else they will help u send back to that country.

Nonetheless I still bought AppleCare for my stainless steel.

I did not get for my previous SS series 0.
i got applecare for my sports series 0 (aka first gen).

due to corrosion at the back, sent it in to Apple Store towards the end of my applecare warranty, got upgraded for free to series 1.

might consider the cellular one if it launches in SG.

My colleague one is Alu non-cellular.

Yeap, you are right, Apple will only service watches that are sold in the host country as well. But since we have seen the IMDA DB, AW Cellular should be coming soon.

With applecare your watch can be serviced in any country that provides applecare

Considering that the watch will be launch very soon, might be worth waiting to buy in SG. In hopes that there may be some special package w the telcos.

Gotten mine in JP last year, made sense cos the LTE Bver is same price as the current ver in SG. No point getting in Aust, as there might be no savings.

Just my 2 cents of comments.

Even if SS is not available in Singapore? I am not sure either but reading the warranty on Apple T&C, "Service will be limited to the options available in the country where service is requested"

Actually if getting from Japan should get AppleCare as well.
¥4,800 is approx $57 SGD or lower while SG Applecare is $88.

Thanks. Must be launching soon.

KNN, takes so long to launch, our Telcos engineers can’t be so moronic.
relax leh ...

eSIM has been in the market for more than a year or two? tech ready, product might not be? plus its apple .. they take as long as they want ... like how they took their time to launch apple watch in sg ...

Bought my AW3 from Australia. Already cheaper then SG pricing then get another 10% rebate at Airport.

Difference ? As in Japan cheaper or Australia ?

But also depends on which country you travelling to, unless u getting people to buy for you.

Based on Online exchange rate shared in forum.
AUD $1 = SGD $1.053,
YEN ¥1000 = SGD $84.246 ($11.87)

Below are the price for AUD after 10% rebate and JP without Tax:

S3
38mm (AU = SGD $434.99 / JP = SGD $436.82)
42mm (AU = SGD $472.90 / JP = SGD $466.88)

S3 LTE
38mm (AU = SGD $529.76 / JP = SGD $543.75)
42mm (AU = SGD $567.67 / JP = SGD $579.26)

S3 SS LTE
38mm (AU = SGD $804.60 / JP = SGD $769.18)
42mm (AU = SGD $870.94 / JP = SGD $828.53)

APPLECARE+ (SG APPLESTORE $88)
(AU = SGD $74.87 / JP = SGD $56.98)
