If you don't intend to switch to Singtel, then the only reason to get cellular is if you want the stainless steel version.

Singtel plan nothing much appeals me. Not really. But I only scare that later part other telco joining in.

But side note that, now already aw4, if they want join should be joining..

I’m thinking to get the Nike version as I tends to run outdoor and will sweaty

Anyone on NumberShare with Singtel for your LTE watches?

When series 0 watch release. I already tempted to order the link bracelet le. However, I am worried that  will change design every 2 yrs or so. So in the end didn't.

But now, see the redesign series 4 and  continue to use the current straps makes me think i should get it. LOL

5xx not cheap sia.
Bracelet one is darn nice. But it also get scratches relatively easy you have to be quite careful especially deskbound users.

I bought series 0 SS bracelet version. Damn pain it was 1500 range. Then shortly within 3-6 months. Taobao sell replicas at a mere 60sgd.

You can consider that. The quality is actually not bad. 80-85% like the originals at a fraction of the price. I bought black bracelet version for my sports series 2/3. It’s cheap and good.

Did u giys check retailers like challenger/nubox/courts?

original is always better !

right now i think all places no stocks for the watches, seems like it really sell better than luxury watches, considering such smart watches not much value at all, a depreciating item esp non SS.

I just called Nubox Tampines Mall this afternoon, all SS models are not avail yet, only selected aluminium models are available.

But I've already ordered my 44mm SS cellular and my wife's 40mm gold aluminium last week via Apple online store, have to slowly wait for 3-4 weeks.

thanks for the confirmation, i managed to read in the earlier pages as well! :)

hopefully it gets regulatory approval soon.

I'd be a little cautious. Currently the watch is 'cleared' by the FDA in the for ECG monitoring, 'cleared' is not the same as 'approved', it's an acknowledgement the device meets a certain standard of measurement but isn't approved to be a diagnostic device. The Apple software is certainly very pretty letting you send a 1-lead ECG to your cardiologist (because we all have a heart doctor on standby right) but it's really just cleared at the FDA's base standard. I'm sure for a 1-lead ECG it works quite well and Apple's done the work to make it as good as possible, but FDA clearance is not the highest bar.

At least one other device which was FDA cleared as an ECG was submitted in Singapore and was not approved. Most other countries don't have a quick and slow track like the FDA, they are more cautious. Apple's efforts have been focussed to clearance in the US, their home market.

I'm skeptical we'll see the watch ECG approved here anytime soon so if you're thinking of buying it for this feature, I'd wait until it's actually approved, you may be at watch 5 or 6 by then.

There are lots of other reasons to love this watch, I think it's Apple's best iteration yet, but I wouldn't get hung up on a feature I'm not sure will ever see approval here.

if do a lot of sports, should get cellular.

looks stupid to carry a phone + a watch when the powerful watch can actually act as a phone by itself as well.
