quite jialat right the scratches. damn obvious
1. Scratches on stainless steel usually quite jialat but can be polished off (silver). Aluminum has coating that don’t scratch easily. But if you hit ur watch against something hard, quite likely will get dents.
2. Sapphire glass is one of the most scratch resistant and hardest material hence I think the screen will be well protected against scratches and cracks. I remember I read somewhere saying ion X is better at drop test due to flexibility and impact resistance. Not sure whether this is true
3. Pertaining to the ECG, it will be used as a OTC monitoring devices. The objective is to chart changes throughout time. It cannot be used as a diagnostics/ therapeutics device. Which means if doctor certify you have heart problems, the device can be use to monitor the disease progression but you still have to visit your specialist every x number of months for treatment. If you are healthy and the ECG shows abnormalities, you are suppose to visit your specialist to investigate your conditions. I think this is awesome because:
1. Usually for ppl with heart issue, specialist may monitor you once every 3-6 months. Now, this device can potentially track and irregularities so that you can go back to your specialist immediately
2. Some who have undetected heart conditions may be picked up by watches so it is possible to seek early treatment
3. For those participating in competitive sports, the watch may prompt you for danger signs so that you can decide whether to stop or not.
