My watch 4 was faulty and Apple placed a new order for me yesterday. Initially it shows deliver 13 Oct but suddenly today just now it was shipped and due to be delivered to me tomorrow!

So highly possible stocks came! My order was for a 40mm alu black.

more likely that replacements get highest priority so they shipped the first one they could. You don't leave customers with faulty goods at the back of the line. The fact they don't have any replacements on hand does say that supply is extremely tight.

Apple doesn't care who your telco provider is, however you won't get e-sim support from anyone but Singtel at this point so if you want cellular, only Singtel has it. If you need cellular, switch to Singtel, if you don't want to do that, buy the GPS model until you're able to leave Starhub.

nice - script is easy to find but what do you put in for 'family' for apple watch? I tried everything obvious. Sending mail out should be a simple change if I can get the family right.

EDIT: found the new branch with the hint about getting model numbers and sorted it out ..

everything red, sad, no availability.

i guess they updated it after i emailed them 2 days ago

EDIT: Email notification working now. Whoopee!

Actually you can just use the IMPORTXML function in Google sheet to pull out the availability. Just remember to set sheet to refresh on reload.

For those looking to sell their AW3 can consider doing so via Apple Trade In. A friend of mine plans to do that tomorrow. According to his reasoning which I kind of agree, it is not really a super bad deal. He foresee if he sells via Carousell, he can get at most $300-$320 for his 38mm GPS. If he does it via he trade-in, he gets back $220. And he only needs to return the watch case. He gets to keep the band and charger. He also save time entertaining potential buyers and traveling down to meet them which may not always ends in a successful deal especially if the case/screen has scratches. For the Apple trade-in, a courier will be dispatched to pick up the watch and money be transferred to your bank account.

how to do trade in?

i tried the website but they say its not eligible for trade in

You need to key in the model/part number that starts with M****, not the one that starts with A****. Even the first gen Apple Watch also accepted.. but only $30. Haha.

We can’t do trade in at the Apple store right? It is done by a 3rd party.

Apple Watch noob here. My daily driver is an Android phone, but I always have an iPhone X with me. the iPhone X doesnt have a SIM but it's always tethered on data to the android phone.

If I get the apple watch, there shouldn't be any problems pairing to the iPhone X without a SIM right?

Also, do u guys normally get Applecare with the the watch?

Coming from a S0/S1, the s4 really rocks! End of day batt life 77%. Compared to 30% for my S1 which sometimes need to charge halfway thru the day. Screen big enough to view message more comfortably
