Coming from a S0/S1, the s4 really rocks! End of day batt life 77%. Compared to 30% for my S1 which sometimes need to charge halfway thru the day. Screen big enough to view message more comfortably

I’m on S1 too and really contemplating to switch to the S4 lol. Anyway any skin irritation to your wrist from the new ceramic back?

We can’t do trade in at the Apple store right? It is done by a 3rd party.

Yes, third party. They will send a courier to pick up the phone from you and transfer the money to you via bank transfer. So basically you can get your new phone/watch first while waiting for the trade-in to complete.

Apple Watch noob here. My daily driver is an Android phone, but I always have an iPhone X with me. the iPhone X doesnt have a SIM but it's always tethered on data to the android phone.

If I get the apple watch, there shouldn't be any problems pairing to the iPhone X without a SIM right?

Also, do u guys normally get Applecare with the the watch?

Get if you are someone who are usually careless. I feel that the watch has higher chance of accidental damage than a phone. As it is constantly on our wrist, easy to smash into the wall, railing, etc.

i guess they updated it after i emailed them 2 days ago

EDIT: Email notification working now. Whoopee!

Got mine running in a window checking every 2 minutes when anything changes, it prints in red, if nothing changes after 30 minutes, it prints in green (so I know it's still running). I just put in the model numbers I care about plus one cellular I can't bring myself to buy

Lots of green today :(

Does the courier do collection at night or weekend?

Sorry a noob question, is there any different between aluminium ver and Nike + ver?

After read up, Seems like getting a GPS model seems more legit unless I’m having a singtel line.

No diff except Nike one got its own specific watch face.

Yes, if one wants to use cellular on the Apple Watch, only Singtel supports it currently.

Yes unless you can switch without penalty. Anyway as I always carry iPhone with me why pay more just for lte.

No physical difference, exactly the same watch, different strap (which I think you can buy yourself). However you get a few exclusive NIKE watch faces and the NIKE run app is installed from the factory and has an easier way to launch it.

So .. not that much difference.

Without a Singtel line any cellular version is a bit pointless so if you're getting Alu, save the $150 and get GPS only. If you love the stainless steel, no option, you have to buy it with cellular.

if you have no singtwl line and not looking at ss then why not?

for me I'm not singtwl user but looking at ss. So only have the cellular options.

even if i get the SS version, i wont activate cellular since i dont really need that and no point paying more.

I used my S3 Ss like GPS only too haha

No other choice for SS users to buy gps model only...
So basically u are buying SS just for material and sapphire...

$430 top up for more premium look....

Im still holding on to my S4 gps model ...
I cant decide if I will return for SS or just live with it and moveon....

Say, what is the success rate of exchanging or refunding your watch within the 14 days period?
Just got a series 3 last week and was thinking to change it for a series 4

In my opinion, for those on the fence on getting SS or aluminium, just get the aluminium with AppleCare+. Don’t need baby the watch, just use it and if really damaged, just claim accidental damage for $98 and get a new watch.
