I installed a spigen tough armour casing on it. A tight fit, considering that aw2 is 0.9mm thicker..

Ordered a nylon strap delivering on thursday.. am a happy man..

Good luck with the hunting everyone..

Yea...that's why I'm curious bout those slim cases. But in the mean time I'm just using it nude.

i use it nude too, just feel so ugly to apply all those case. That's why thinking to add apple care on it. but the problem is, after you add apple care, if you got scratch want to change a new screen or whatever need to pay an additional $94 to exchange.

Yesterday, I had a nasty knock on my Alu AW2 on the side and edge of the display against a closing door.

Made a check and there are no scratches on the display and the side. I owned the previous model as well and had several knocks but turned out fine.

Probably I'm just lucky in these instances but I feel that the AW(2) is way tougher to withstand some accidental knocks.

So aw2 is tougher than series 1?

I think both series are equally tough since they are using the same (alu) materials and display.

Both series are vulnerable to scratches and breakages if there is a direct and sharp impact; I was just lucky that the impacts were on the blunt objects' surface in all instances so far. :s13:
