if you have AC+ it's covered under accidental coverage.
else, it's considered a out of warranty repair.

Actually, QCD which is an Apple-authorised service provider has this thing called "AppleCare+ 365", purchaseable anytime within 365 days from your iPhone's date of purchase. I'm surprised it's not more well known.

https://www.qcd-tech.com/applecare-plus

But I suppose one caveat is that you will be "married" to QCD for AppleCare+; it says "available only at QCD service centres in Singapore", so I don't think your Applecare+ will be valid at the Apple store or A.lab.

hmmm thanks for the nice share!

I have no problem with sticking with QCD for repair/replacement although i prefer apple store's experience. What to do since i carelessly exceeded 60 days! :)

You should bring down to apple store for a inspection after 60 days to see if they allow you to buy apple care after 60 days. I think it was able to? Can someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Does anyone know if under Apple care plus for iPhone, can I claim accidental damage and pay for the cost if the iPhone is not actually damaged?

Does anyone knows if i request for an express replacement service (148$) and subsequently cancel the plan (within 30 days of purchase), how much refund am I entitled? Full refund?
