Does anyone knows if i request for an express replacement service (148$) and subsequently cancel the plan (within 30 days of purchase), how much refund am I entitled? Full refund?

So you want to utilise the service then cancel the service which allowed you to utilise it in the first place and get a refund???

When you request for express replacement service you give Apple authorisation to charge you the full cost of the replacement device. The actual cost you can find it online, differs from device to device. Pretty sure if Apple found out that you are using this to your advantage, you will end up losing more. :s8:

Also, the full refund is likely if you have not utilised it. Doubt you’ll be entitled to any refund once you used it.

I think AppleCare+ 365 by QCD can be bought within 365 days of device purchased date and still get to service by Apple directly.

This is their private arrangement, iirc. Official AppleCare+ from Apple remains 60 days. I'm not sure if QCD charges different rates though.

I just emailed QCD and ask. If you purchase apple care+ 365 from QCD, you can service at any Apple stores or Apple authorized service providers.

But before you buy, please ask and confirm again.

Alab also has 365 days after your purchase date with 10% discount.

Hi, back when we got our iPhone XS Max HK set from the retailers, we were able to buy Apple Care+ from Apple SG (online).

Wondering if anyone knows if we are still allowed to get AC+ for iPhone 12 Pro HK sets now? :o

so instead of buying direct from the serial number check via the apple website, it's better to buy from alabs with 10% discount since it's technically the same?

if i can buy from US applecare+, will that be better? since we extend the warranty monthly after that (and i got burned before the phone spoil 1 month after 24months of warranty :(). i only worried i cannot get repair or incident exchange here...

I did this way with the hk set of 11pro max... no issues leh.

That was before i found out about the 10% discount at alab.

I got this message when I tried to register:

AppleCare Products for this device are not available.
Sorry, but this device doesn’t appear to be eligible for an AppleCare product. Please choose another device and try again.

What could I have done wrong? :(
