Apple sg applecare term and condition page state 60 days. That should be the official one.

How to buy

  1. Purchase AppleCare+ with your new iPhone.
  2. Or buy it within 60 days of your iPhone purchase:
    • On your device (go to Settings > General > About and choose AppleCare+ Coverage Available)
    • Online (requires you to verify your serial number and run a remote diagnostic)
    • At an Apple Store (inspection of iPhone and proof of purchase are required)
    • By calling 800-186-1087 (requires you to run a remote diagnostic and provide proof of purchase)

thanks guys

change phones every year … so QCD & ALab AC+ useful if i know kiddo is going to be using the hand me down 13 pro max for next 2 years …

looks like the one from Apple direct is more relevant … if say no questions asked to get set exchanged to refurbished etc
i still remember how hard it was to get an exchange from ST Comcentre last time … and also Apple (12 pro max … i didn’t have AC+ though) but the phone just blanked off coz running hot whilst i was out running and taking photos lol
luckily i got a CSO from a cantonese speaking region (i don’t want to be direct lol) who hinted if there was any other issues with the phone other than what i’d brought it in for (which their diagnostic tests failed to verify my issue)
then i got the drift and said ya … he infact now i recall the phone blah3 … and got an immediate 1-1 exchange 🤣
Errm, buying AC+ from Alab and QCD is the same as buying from Apple directly. 😉

i tot they said only apple can refund … ???
but only these 2 can buy beyond the 60 days but <1year
Is there any written text that states this?

my understanding is that it is the same, wherever you buy apple care from. Just that in Singapore, you can only buy from Alab or QCD after 60 days.

In the states, you can also buy after 60 days from Apple stores.

In fact, all our records are the same to Apple’s system. I doubt they will record this as AC+365 as it is probably recorded at just AC+ in their system.

Just to illustrate this, after I bought, apple sent an email saying I will be getting unlimited accidental coverage, even though QCD’s website remains at 2 per year

steady! i’m going down to PS later.
I went down yesterday and they told me their system is not set up to process AC+ for iPhone 14. Believe it or not. Zzz. Wasted a trip. They told me to try again on Tuesday and not come again this weekend, but please let us know if they are able to process the purchase if you’re going today!

Guess you are trying for the 10% discount? If not, can just call in for apple care.

Yeah. Might as well right. Haha. But if they can’t do it on Tuesday will just go ahead and buy from Apple liao, because I’m flying off to Tokyo for 2 weeks and wanna have peace of mind during the trip…

Because a few years back, it is on activation date.

They changed it around 2 years ago. Trust me as I just bought for my iPhone 13 pro max and it extended to Sep 2024, close to 3 years of warranty in total

So you got 1year normal warranty + 2 years AC+ warranty right? I don't mind doing this as I don't change phone every year. I changing from ip11pm to ip14pm. Phone technically don't break down within a year (If you are careful)

yea but only if you buy applecare+ towards the end of your 1 year 14 pro max warranty - assuming they don’t change policies till then

When in doubt, just check the website :)

Every iPhone comes with one year of hardware repair coverage through its limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary technical support. AppleCare+ for iPhone extends your coverage to two years from your AppleCare+ purchase date and adds unlimited incidents of accidental damage protection. Each incident is subject to a service fee of S$42 for screen or back glass damage, or S$148 for other accidental damage.2 In addition, you’ll get 24/7 priority access to Apple experts by chat or phone through
