May I know is there a specific period where we will need to buy and activate Applecare+ after purchasing iphone(iPhone 6)? Or its like normal applecare where we need to activate it before 1st year end from date of purchase?

AppleCare is available on authorized resellers.

AppleCare+ is only available from Apple online store.

2 months from date item ordered or when the item is shipped? Some of us the phones only coming in 4 weeks.

MBP warranty(w/ or wo/ Applecare) is international but i clearly recall iPhone warranty being local-only...

If I'm not wrong... no more normal Applecare being sold through their retailers since Applecare+ was introduced...

If somehow later one when you are going into the Apple online store to buy a iphone and you are buying for yourself and would like to have Applecare+... you should buy it together and let Apple auto activate for you...

Else when buying within the 60 days of purchase (from the date you order, better don't last minute), Apple would do a diagnostic test with you before they would allow Applecare+ to be sold to you.

last time, i bought 5s 1st. then, not sure if i can buy applecare+, i called apple hotline, talk to someone. to do the diagnostic test, he send me an email on the spot with a url link, i click on the link, the test started.
