you must have activated your phone on 20th sept 2014. regardless of when you bought your AC+, AC+ warranty period (excluding accidental damage, as accidental damage kicks in after you activated AC+) only starts after your first year warranty has ended.

Therefore, the above 19th sept 2014 is correct.

Thanks Bro.

I am on the line with Apple Support Singapore. My AppleCare + was purchased on 19 September 2014 like you but my estimated expiration date ends on 17 September 2016.

Online support told me that it could be due to some months having 30 days and some 31 days but told me to call Agreement Admin to confirm.

Hotline Support Singapore told me that the difference could be because it is tied to USA timezone. lol. I asked him to confirm before coming back to me.

I quoted your case to the both of them. :s13:

Yeah, from ST. It was sealed and they activated it in front of me.

Anyway no worries as the receipt can be used to prove that I bought the set and the AppleCare+ on 21-Sept.

Called and they told me exactly the same thing.

I think that is the reason why they stated estimated expiration date ends on xx-xx-xxxx. in this case, proof of purchase will solve the problem.

For all the activate on 20th but warranty only until 18th, its because of timezone issue.

My phone was activated on 19th night time (so USA already 19th), hence my warranty expiration is 18th Sep 2015.

If your phone was activated earlier in the day on 19th (when USA still 18th), your warranty expiration will be 17th Sep 2015.
