As in the vid, all deep fried scallops are fakes. Pan seared ones are the real deal

Maybe much easier to spot fakes when not breaded?

recently i found a new batch of gailan for sale
say USFDA/EUFSA tested type A gailan and the properties are "abc"
today i see supermarket gailan is type B and the properties are "???"
but if you goto SFA/HSA website, you cannot find any local data
about what is type B? our vege on sale at the shelf?
what is this "???" gailan we eating?

no std 1 copy overseas foreign data
then claim our food is the same std

surumi (threadfim bream)

Ang moh stupid ma.......we eat many many years of crab stick we already know the taste and texture liao.

Surimi is machiam the crab stick we eat, the thicker texture ones they cut n fry look like scallop, but the taste is like the sweet sweet crab stick kind.

They can't even spell surimi correctly. Lol.
Threadfin bream is actually a very nice table fish. I'm surprised it is not a more commercialized species like pangasius.

I just bought from Giant, frozen bay scallops, on discount now, 2 packets for $11.50

It is the real stuff. Not processed in any way. Just pure scallop meat.

That’s a surimi product. One of the better imitations. I buy it for niece and nephew who can’t stand the smell of the real thing.
