so you are saying so long red you don't want to exit regardless of what happened?
I am well diversified. Am overall in the green. Selling at a massive loss then doesn’t make sense or a difference to me. I can afford to hold.

this provides more context.

But holding onto something just because it’s red and you don’t want to exit doesn’t really make sense.

But then again nobody says people’s choices have to be logical.

It doesn't make sense to sell when it's deep in the red either. There is always the chance the investment can go back up for reasons beyond your own comprehension or control.

I think you are misunderstanding what i mean.

I'm not saying that you should exit because it is deep red.

I'm saying it's the reason for maintaining or exiting.

If you are saying you don't need to exit despite it being deep red because you are gambling that it can go back up for reasons beyond your own comprehension, I can see the reason for it.

but just saying, "don't want to exit cause is red" is just ???

You literally said it doesn't make sense even after I told u the reason.

Similarly I am just telling u it doesn't make sense to sell something that is deep in the red either.

i said in that post that you provided more context. so that explains liao.

the following 2 sentences are just general comment relating to "don't want to exit because it's red"

relax.

Even when I provided context, you said "but" and "doesn't really make sense". And to that, I am just saying selling doesn't make sense either.
