I normally cycle for leisure on the PCN, up to 20KM. For when my friends and I decided to go on a night cycling trip (for food =:p), we may clock up to 50KM+. From these long distance trips, I feel like changing the flat bar to a drop bar to increase comfort, as well as changing to shifters. I feel like the fork could be better as well.

That's not a long distance at all. You may be better off making sure that your bike is the right size for you. Then, get a pair of good bicycling gloves and biking shorts.

Think you need to change lbs 30 bucks to check crank is stupid ..

Smiling devil thinks the sound is due to The bearings having additional grease after it is run in thus the sound . can bring to him to check

My bike which is using a pf24 Also has the sound but I'm not bothered by it it happens whenever I spin I torque the crank higher to remove the sound but it still comes back

The tool is really expensive the park tools one are at 150 SGD not worth it IMHO
Sent from Alps X4 using GAGT

thanks noob, actually i very long nv cycle due to exam
before riding was checking, some how and dont know why this happens...

thanks smiling devil in advance, how do i bring to u to check ?

Anyone cycled along Orchard Rd or the area before? Is it do-able? Or not advised to?

Fenix BC30, 1800 lumens. Sibei tokkong.

QFT...

Best thing is it's a floodlight, now a thrower. Very important for cycling if you ask me.

And the 18650 batteries can be swapped. Very good for long distances when bringing spare batteries.

Hey all, I have been stalking this thread since page 1. Finally decided to create an account and seek y'all's advise. :s13: I would like to seek some advices and recommendations on bike upgrades. I'm new to all the bicycle jargon and I can only refer to areas of the bike where I wish to improve.

I just hooted my first bike a few months back, a Polygon Heist 3.0 2015 (hybrid). Here's the site to its specs: polygonbikes.com/sg/bikes/description/2015-heist-3.0#spec

For the above, is it feasible? If so, what components/brands/models would you recommend? I bought this bike for $500, so my budget for these components should only be a fraction of it, not more than $250 total (hopefully). I intend to slowly upgrade my bike since I do not have much disposable income as a student.

Other than the parts mentioned above, what are some parts that you guys think could be upgraded further?

Thanks in advance! :D

My normal short distance is 25km once-twice weekly. And will go slightly further during either friday or saturday. About 50-60km. Long distances would be between 70-90. And I am using a much smaller bike than yours.

I don't see the need for you to upgrade other than your engine and comfort.

Where was it stolen? I store my bike at home. If I cycle to work, I'm lucky that I can store my bike in the office.
