Is all in the mind la, since you are paying more, you will naturally feel that the ride is better and smoother. It will never occur to you that you are paying more just for the branding:D

True..

When i was at MBS getting my Tern, i told my wife how nice this bike would be if display at home..And it was a Moulton..I look at it for quite awhile.. :s13:

I looked at Moultons too but not sure it's worth the SGD20k that I would need to pay to bring it up to my level of equipment.

Oh yes. The weekend death trap.

Children running around suddenly, people walking on the cycling tracks, entire families stopped in the middle of the cycling track, couples hugging each other or even kissing each other - all on the cycling track. :s13:

It's amazing cyclists don't use the walking tracks to cycle, sometimes.

Ya. If u go Punggol Settlement near the jetty, basically pedestrians are using the cycling track for all sorts of activities from strolling to jogging.

The ones that I saw recently at BRU Yishun were only about SGD4k. I'm talking about the New Series models such as the SPEED. But, I would upgrade it with a Rohloff (seen someone do that) along with a SON dynohub and lights.

By then, you will be hitting about SGD20k since a New Series is - last I heard from MBS - about SGD18k.

TSR and AM, both comes from different factory. AM is more pricey, the double pylon one is 20k+, starting price I think around 7-8k. Only recently they launched the TSR series, cheaper and more hardy? Both can distinguish by the lower diagonal stem, TSR is straight and the AM isn't.

This is why I don't go on PCNs! It would be an even better idea if you roadies don't either. I'm a slower rider but I am also a better rider than probably anyone else on here. And I look at PCNs and think they are deathtraps.

One day someone is going to get killed. That's going to further tarnish the reputation of cyclists all over SG.

Stick to the roads like I do.
