You mean Key Power right? Bought a pair in their sales at Paya Lebar last year or 2 years back. Quite like it but could not manage to spot the brand when I visited their Velocity shop recently. Maybe I will check with them again next time I visit. Thanks.

alamak, ya....They told me only the shop at Velocity carry more cycling stuff, but I never check

Heard from friend that there will be a carnival during the OCBC cycle event. Usually will have good bargains for cycling stuff?

No need after every ride unless, perhaps, you have been mountain biking with it or just like to wallow on the beach because it's your thing. Otherwise, Google bike maintenance

Congrats on your new bike! (I ish beri jelly)

If you kiasu, buy a painter soft brush to sweep off the dirt/dust after every ride. I wash my brush every month. If you want cloth also can, but more troublesome and dirty.

dunno is suay or lucky.

Weather forecast said whole week got thunderstorm but this morning havent rain and sky is bright bright.

Then spent more than half an hour eat breakfast, wear jerseys, filled water bottle, fix up front wheel, took my energy bar, pouch/money, wear helmet and shoes, etc.

Go downstairs then started to rain and thunderstorm some more.

LL go home, post here, end of story.

Do u all think there's very big difference in quality and function between ergon grips and $10 made in China?

Ergon grips have some interesting features.

It is non slippery, comfortable, easy to wipe and clean, uses screw to tighten so that the grips won't spin when exerting force. Even the wing piece/flaps at the edges have markings so that both can be adjusted equally.

You will have to check whether those china grips have such functionality.

Those who stay HDB, where do u wash your bike?

Corridor outside house, in void deck, outside void deck near drain, on grass patch or cycle to elsewhere then do?

Corridor. Then sweep after cleaning. :D Not applicable to Pasir Ris and Clementi DBSS though.

The usual cleaning would be surface only. e.g. i use a brush to brush away the dust from the rims and spokes after every ride. After a few long rides, i will also use a cloth to wipe away the dust off the chain and then lube it using singer oil. By right, one should take out the chain and cassette and degrease it, clean it, put in back and then grease it but too lazy and expensive to do it.

Do you fold your bike after every ride?

If yes, then you must check the joints and hinges to make sure they are ok with no weird creaking/flexing. Always have a full set of Allen key with you just in case you need to tighten any parts or make any adjustments along the way.

for those who wash bike at corridor, wont there be dark stain from the oil/dirt on the chains and gears?

I am planning to degrease my chains and wash the cogs.
