Ultimate poison! :D

Get Verge frame, use ultegra 10 speed setup... then change to 451 wheels.

Bets of the best!

i think I probably will get a java mini velo if my c7 spoil or if i manage to get a buyer. cannot imagine spending so much on a weekend hobby

seldom fold so might as well get mini velo instead. i quite like the form factor (despite me being bui bui) coz can store at home easily.

sibeh satki, only lacking a rear or front basket!

Looks nice...but trying to see if it has the eyelet to mount a rear rack to it. If it has, could be a contender if I were to get a replacement for my foldie where I am using it for going to the neighbourhood supermarket.

=:p=:p

One reason I am using my cheap foldie for that purpose...but the crank ring is warpped already...If rear cog is at the largest or smallest, very easy to have chain drop. Still ridable but sometimes frustrating and end up it black greasy fingers. :o

depends on mode

1080 P is around 2 hours

720p is slight longer around 2hour 15 mins.

still got the 60FPS 1080 P which is super short battery life.

can plug external battery i think, so if can drill a hole in the casing, should be able to last longer since the internal batttery is onl 1400ma

Actually got another mode even shorter battery life is to record in Pro mode 1080p at 50mbps

I think you can consider those thick chain and padlock at hardware stores? $15 settle. its as heavy as a ulock.

Remember that you are merely trying to deter, give the thieves an hour with heavy duty cutters, they can even open safes. As long as you can find another bikr with a lousier lock system (e.g. those $6 cable locks), you will be relatively safe beside it (hard for the thief to get away with two bikes).

Where you park the bike? Outside house?
Where I stay I always notice the same bikes at same spot (meaning not stolen, yet), gives me the urge to try locking my c7 at bicycle parkinG area near carpark.

Park inside the house. Only lock the bike outside of shops when I go in to get something. Even when this bike is close to being a write off, hairline crack on seattube near the BB and warped crank ring, I still dun like the idea of locking it outside the house overnight.

I park outside my house with 2 different locks (chain + ulock) and bike cover

hi to all,

i am currently, thinking of getting a hybrid, or base on the experts and experienced ones here for feedback.

apologies, as im a complete novice on bicycles

usage : training for intervals [ VO2, sprints/ all out cycle ], main goal, but of course will be east coast park type.

few questions

- ive seen a price of $560 or something for hybrid, the store dude says its the better options, if i might go through gravel or grass patch [ which is a high possibility ]

- what stuff, accessories do i have to purchase, if i need to keep the bike in good cycling condition?

- is there any shops in the east area, which i can just oneshot do the whole purchase [ including security chain, rear light etc ] how much more will be added to the tally?

- would the hybrid's, front wheel suspension make any difference ? And its it advisable to have it over grass patches or slight bumps ?

Thanks in advance for the direction and answers:s12:

All out cycle at ECP? You mean Changi Coastal road? The park, or even the service road, may be challenging to cycle all out. One option would be to all out at climbs.

there's alot of different tyre sizes too.. if you go on gravel often den suggest u get thicker ones (>32C).

As for the suspension part... yes it makes a difference especially when you ride over the stupid speed regulating strips on the PCN. With suspension, the downside is your hybrid will be heavier and feels more like a mtb than a roadbike

Not as in professional all out but intervals, just to train up :o

nah, not as much as i would like to, just im the event, like beaten path/goats path etc....

not hell bent on riding over, but hopefully it wouldnt damage the tires....:o
