Just curious, how long can the sony action camera's battery last per charge?
depends on mode

1080 P is around 2 hours

720p is slight longer around 2hour 15 mins.

still got the 60FPS 1080 P which is super short battery life.

can plug external battery i think, so if can drill a hole in the casing, should be able to last longer since the internal batttery is onl 1400ma

after my exams in may, gonna try something crazy(timed 24 hours event)

will probably get a xiaomi battery hook it up to some cameras to last longer.

according to calculations should last around 20 hours or so

I put in a 32Gb micro SD card instead of using the 8Gb one supplied. Can go pass the 2 hours but I had not found out how long it can record before relooping. :p

That might just be my problem, I'll definitely loosen my grip and see how it goes. Will also look into installing Ergon grip. Which one recommended? GP1? 2? or 3?

do you need barends as well or just grips ?

I hooked up a 5200mAh xiaomi for my ride in TW. Can last at least 8 hrs. I was using it without the casing, it runs less hot and can last longer. You have to check the SD card oso, 6+h of recording is about 40GB on 1080

Fly6 provided 8Gb memory so can record only ard 2hrs

if u change to 32gb can support longer.

I got fly6 gen 2 and sony As-100v same as Snoob.

Funded the fly12 too. Seems a good deal to have front light and cam together. Since I intended to get either go pro or shimano cam anyway.

what is a value-for-money RD to upgrade from a 7-speed tourney?

I am not upgrading from 7-speed now, but would like to get a 9-speed (or even 10) RD to give myself the option to upgrade to a 9/10 speed wheelset in future.

If i'm not wrong as long as i use back my 7speed revoshift shifter, i have no issue using a 9speed shimano RD?

i'm riding a tern c7 by the way, so should i go for road or mtb RDs?

C7 to upgrade Rd and cassette need upgrade wheelset.

My advise is to sell c7

Buy tern verge frame and DIY with 105 5800 components. If gt budget ultegra 6800

evanscycle, wiggle, ribble and most UK online shops have the same speed as CRC.

bought from ribble/wiggle/sjscycles before, express is about 4-5days, normal is roughly 8-10 days.

most online retailers have the standard shipping duration of 2 weeks unless you pay extra, when i bought my crank from amazon, free shipping took roughly 11 days.

unless you buy from china sites like aliexpress or dhgate, those you can forget about it, it will come when it comes, there was once it took 2 mths for an item to arrive and i even forgot about it.

if i buy verge frame and get components separately, isn't it the same as buying parts and upgrade c7?

or do you actually mean verge frame is better than c7?

not worth it

its much cheaper to buy the grouppo as a set and you need to change the wheel since 7 spd is freewheel and not a freehub.

worth it ? a 105 groupset is around 700 sgd even when factoring in online prices.
