it is Sora - Tiagra - 105 - Ultegra - Dura Ace

you are comparing 8-9 speed cassettes, those are becoming rare so price will be stagnant, they wont be priced accordingly compared to the 10-11 speed components.

but they are still very cheap already.

hi guys...

anyone know where there is a decent number of tri spd shoes to look at in sg? i went to vertex.. not much..and they certainly will break my bank and back! :)

i went to rodalink, but they also have limited number.. but at a decent price.

anyone know where else? and why are so many of them white?!?!?!

i assume you tried them on so you know your size?

go online and buy, more variety. wiggle/crc/evanscycle or even amazon.

so is not that the sora is better than tiagra right? :s22::s22:

just to double confirm
i think its just a coincidence that shimano named the 2 parts the same.

just buy what you need. 8,9,10 now got no "better" groupset or whatsoever.

theres nothing better, its just the number of speed, once you hit 105,ultegra and da level , then youre comparing across the same speeds

is this sora groupset a good buy? ~$180
For Sale : Sora Groupset | Bike Marketplace | Togoparts.com

thinking of getting a 2nd hand wheelset at ~$100

Total $280 to upgrade my louya C7
i think its okay but that crank sucks, very problematic in the long run if you wanna remove it.

not so simple lol.

grouppo 180,
wheelset 100
If yours is not dropbar, have to buy another one at least 50
installation costs, around 50-80

total 320 at max.

the shifters are trigger shifters, so i can use the flat handlebar :)
but i dunno if the FSA BB is English thread 68mm (for tern).
Only grouse is that the crank is 50T (i think), may not be suitable for 20inch wheels

thanks for sharing your experience

Guys, east side, which shop is noon friendly for choosing a hybrid (?) Parkway area or around there

Sent from Sony D6653 using GAGT
Lai lai, lots of hybrids for you to choose from. Beside Polyclinic.
Are there any good shops to do upgrade of parts on my racing bike? Would need to pack in a box for loading on a plane.
What upgrades are you looking at and where are you staying?

do you need a huge selection or more price oriented ?

Currently my bike is using shimano 105. Looking to replace it, but it's a very old bike >10 years. So thinking of keeping the body, and change the others. Resonable price will do, not ready to get the best parts.

Hmm if you need shimano parts can approach SD and get a quotation. If you want 11 speed be prepared to spend 1k minimally cause old wheel set is not compatible

On the other hand If you want campagnolo drivetrain pm me and can recommend my source

Its about 1k for group set and another 300? Or so to change the wheel even lesser if your wheel has the capability to change freehub

I'm not too sure if lbs stock 9\10 speed part if so it will be lesser
