How to u lub wheel hub? Remove the whole hub?

Me not pro lei. I only remove wheel nia to do some greasing once maybe every 2 mths and clean off the dirt building up.
Normally I use a tooth pick and apply some near the gap line where the wheel spins.

depends on the model got many type. at the axle there you pull the caps out, the bearings are there

I think a lot of these answers on here are confusing. Why? Because there are so many types of hubs!

For example, I have a hybrid with Shimano Deore DX hubs. Very old. The bike was used for tens of thousands of kilometers almost exclusively on roads. I opened up the front hub for the first time about 20 years after purchasing the bike and bearings were in fantastic shape. No need to re-grease, nothing. Just closed her up again.

I think people should be a bit more clear as to what hub and bike they are talking about. If you just listen to my example, you would never open up your hub! :s22:

Just bought clipless. The shimano shoes are my size but seems not much room at the toes there. Nails are almost rubbing the shoes. Is this normal? This is especially if i put the cleats towards the front of the shoes to ride.

Yes i got try the shoes but to walk a few steps on floor only. Yes, only few steps.

The service at Tay Junction was absolutely disappointing when i bought the clipless peddles (deore xt) and shoes. I wouldn't recommend anyone going there if u are buying these.

1. They asked an inexperience staff to fix things up for me.
2. They didn't teach me how to use or how to hook onto the peddles.
3. They didn't let me use any trainer or do any adjustment for me. I am left to my own devices, until i approached the experienced senior looking guy (seemed like overall in charge) who seemed reluctant to share anything with me regarding the cleats. I have to specifically ask how to use and adjust the cleats and whether wrong settings would injure my knees. The answer i gotten is not up to my expectations. But to be fair, he asked the inexperience guy to adjust the peddles cleats brackets to the most loose setting since i am beginner.

The whole process is like i am begging them. I will not go back to them anymore. Damn regret going there.
