Really waste much degreaser meh?

The amount I used each time is probably the same as the amount used to soak.

What's your chain mileage like? I've read that soaking in degreaser completely removes any grease within the links and are detrimental to the lifespan of it.

I have a lot of saddles just pm me if you wanna try

Talking about cleaning.

You guys are which camp.

1: die die must take out chain soak in degreaser , dry and lube.
2:use brush spray whatever apply degreaser then wait then rinse off. Dry already lube.
3:use rag clean chain, lube , if looks dirty clean again. Lube again.

Or 4
5
6

Can share?

And is solvent degreasers unsafe to touch the tyres and brake rotor but solvent base not so bad ; correct or wrong?

for full maintenance, remove crank, chain, jockey wheel and cassette. Chain, jockey and cassette goes into a pail of degreaser.

For quick clean, use chain cleaner.

degreaser is reused to save cost... more than a year, I only use 1/2 litre :s22:

I think I'm going to go the way. Degrease totally then lube, for full maintenance.

For quick clean, just use rag and lube , rag and lube.

Good point! Does the C17 feels as good as it looks?

My friend use mama lemon... :s13:

Diesel should work fine too..

Use to use that for cleaning my motorcycle chain..Cheaper per litre compared to kero or degreaser..

The mafan part is need to have proper disposal..

Guess I'll be

1:Removing chain clean with degreaser. Dry & lube

2:Spot cleaning on the cassette and chainring.

3:Go scout for some bike tools on CRC. 2 3pnths later do full maintenance where I remove the cassettes to clean.

Birdy has both outer inner bashguards. Any easier way apart from removing to clean the chain rings?

If I'm not wrong Birdy stock is wet lube. :(
Grime on the whole drive train

My butt quite seasoned. More like just looking for better comfort. :D
