I need a like button for this. Much better than the other kid who straight away challenge ball size when dealing with arguments n talk abt speed all the time

I like healthy debate. :)

anyone can recommend me 7 speed cassette, chain and rear derailleur to buy? my mtb cassette is dented with some broken teeth on it :(

Those older generation of drivetrain have to get online.
Probably very hard to get it at LBS. They can probably source for you at a marked up price.

Is it worth to spend $138 on carbon seatpost to shave off 250g from a foldie?

What seatpost are you using currently?
You sure can save 250g?
$138 carbon seatpost seems alittle too cheap.

All the more, u should understand that legs n stamina is the main factor since ur putting in so much effort to these ? Noticed that I didn't said "I win ALL dogma", heck I didn't even generalised "dogma" n even indicated "some" dogma that shows I'm not trying to show off at all.

But I noticed luxury rider tends to push themselves really hard than others when riding at certain finishing segments maybe trying very hard to justify their purchase. U know how it feels when u lose while having the best bike in town? So generally it's safe to say that they seldom lose in a ride easily =)

Ever since I began noticed this thread and have been following it since I know u are a good rider with decent or maybe good speed and u always helping people with enquiries n sharing staffs but the ball size challenge really changed my opinion of u.
Not true la , don't need to make statements such as I ride polygon can smoke dogma and all.

Just ride what you can afford simple .

Most luxury riders they don't ride hard cause they scAred crash their baby. The only exception is probably longhouse 7am

Expensive bike feels different, ridden one befoee.. that's why to me bikes are quite personal stuff if you can afford good stuff good for you

I don't really care of your opinion i just like cycling in general, wanna ride fast wanna prove you're better just go race , I don't really care about keyboard comments

Wait till u progress to recabling and stuff.

Your stock bb should have some sizing engraved on the bb itself.
If u talk about hollow tech, it is shimano system, but then there is no such thing as a hollow tech bb.
Bb comes in many system (eg, BSA, GXP, BB30.... Etc too many to list out). For BB, it is the type of crank u are using and the diameter/length of the bb shaft.
The really painful one is when you recable internal routing and you have to blindly poke around for the exit cause you stupidly strip everything by accident

Anyone can recommend where to get torx screwdrivers for rotors?

Bought a pair of BB7-Mtb from taobao with rotors... so plan to change those too.

However the cheap torx screwdriver set I bought just gave way when I tried to loosen the current rotors. While it's fairly easy to find decent normal screwdrivers, torx ones seems quite elusive leh...

yeah, first time I changed my cables.. forgotten I had the cable with the outer case and decide to snap snap :s13:

for rewiring these days, I strip down the crank and BB.. 5mins job.

then DIY Di2.. had to use my dremel tool to create a bigger hole for the cables to go thru :s22:

Thanks, will go check them out. Any particular brand you think is good?

Can't recall the brand, but it comes in a set with other bits. Costs about $50.

Of course if you find it not good enough, they do carry more expensive ones...

Oh yeah . you guys reminded me. I also wanna change my cable colours hahahaha.

I was thinking. Remove inner cable. Replace housing.

Then input outer cable. Then won't need to reroute the entire thing thru the frame. I can imagine it to be quite a blind job. In the sense I won't be able to see how to thread it thru.

Get good quality tools. Because rounded screws are a pain in the arse. And when you are frustrated when working tend to round screws.
