HH.... that's very good....
so we know HHs earn from our basic salary.
what about something not so straight-forward. like our Over-Time and allowances?
At the moment, my allowances and OT can be 75% of my salary.
lets say $5000 basic + I did $3800 allowance/ OT for the month
how do they cut it?
Sorry but the "fee" is on top of your basic salary.
Means even if the company hire you direct, you won't get a higher basic salary as a contact staff.
The reason is because companies
1) don't want to hire people under their headcount (means your pay is paid by the hh)
2) companies don't want to hire permanent. Period. They rather pay more money to the hh, then if needed can easily not renew the person contact. (because there is no work for the contract staff to do)
3) companies want to "test" the employee if he is good. If not good can just don't renew the contract. Companies would rather pay a fee to the hh than hire directly because it is easier to "remove" the employee if he is not suitable for the job.
Remember when companies want to hire people ( especially mnc), cannot just simply hire. Must ask approval from all the senior managers why need to hire people.
