You pass the exam, you are only certified. You needs an EA in order to register yourself as EAP (KAH) regardless if you are one man show or not.

To answer your answer, the answer is no. You needs to set up an EA or join a EA as freelance EAP (Basic or KAH) cause demerit points involve.

Hi bro, wanted to PM you but your inbox is full :(

Once employer know that you are being retrnech they will squeeze you and give you the lousiest salary out there. Why Singapore is such a lousy employee market?

My friend kena such case , he reduced his salary by 30% and the employer asks for another 40% cut, he decides to walk over.

Hi TS, what do SMU business grads usually end up doing after graduating for 5-10 years? Any insights? At a "median level"...

1) What is your major in H.NITEC?

2) You do not meet the requirement such as GCE A or Diploma to go for CMFAS Exam and become a Representatives of Licensed Financial Advisers and Exempt Financial Advisers.

3) With a H.NITEC, very unlikely you will get a high salary sale job that include your commission. It is also very unlikely your organization will groom you to be in a sale managerial position.

4) I would recommend you to take RES/REA Exam to become a property agents (or individual salespersons) or take CEI (KAH/Basic) Exam & become an Employment Agency Personnel (Recruiter).

Hi HH, just ord-ed and currently jobless as I'm thinking what's the best route for me. Holding on to Hnitec cert only, don't wish to pursue private education and am interested in sales, what jobs do you think best suits me and provides high basic pay? (Do not have work exp tho)

They usually end in working in various banks either in back or middle office functions, more common nowadays they end up in governance functions specifically like risk, audit or compliance

Hi mr headhunter, I have no experience in aml . But I went ahead to take acams and managed to pass . However seems like still have difficulty finding aml roles . Initially I was targeting aml advisory or financial crime but seems like both require some experience of some sort

If you have zero aml working experience, you are better off starting in transactions monitoring or kyc.

Advisory aml will not hire people with no experience

How likely are banks willing to employ you if u have AML CDD experience but would like to try / jump to transactions monitoring or sanctions filtering?

It is easy to jump to transaction monitoring, but difficult to jump to sanctions filtering.

Banks will hire you if you have no experience in TM but you will not get hired for a sanctions role (unless the role is for fresh grads) if you have zero sanctions experience

Thanks headhunter for your reply. Would you know if acams certification would help chances in landing such roles or help to negotiate a better salary.
