yah, now is a lot of americans and europeans in japan. they will corrupt the japan culture. already there are news surfacing these angmos are having difficulty understanding the japanese cultures and imposing their own cultures onto them.

Japanese youth in big cities already influenced long ago. kyoto shouldn't be easily influenced with their strong traditional roots.

just avoid big cities if u want experience real Japanese culture. hopefully no more somali incident.

Pasmo Child and Suica Child no shortage so it's the regular 10 years validity and refresh when use..

Only Pasmo normal and Suica normal is not available for purchase now.

Pls note...child card will not be usable once child is above 12 years. I wanted to use my eldest child's card (coz he is above 12 liao) for my younger child. His card was bought in 2019... Machine indicated card expired when i tried to top up. In the end, I had to spend some time to get a new pasmo child card instead

Is it worth going to rebun island and rishiri islands in Wakkanai? I see there are buses but every 2-3 hrs, and hiking. If rent car there is abt $150 for 24 hrs for 1 island only.

Trying to see what i can do in wakkanai for 1.5 days, assuming i leave sapporo at 8am and reach ard 2pm onwards after lunch.

ya I had checked the charges for JAL luggage deposit too and most probably will deposit at luggage storage. coin locker worried its full and luggage deposit online stated might reject if full.

It seems a very enterprising Chinese ah yi has set up a luggage repair shop with storage services at rinku town station. Claim by 8pm and competitively priced compared to the lockers. Look out for the signs written in Chinese.

there a luggage storage at rinku train station itself, 500Yen per luggage, till 7pm latest.

all premium outlet will have coin lockers..better also if you keep it there as in case u buy anything there, just pack into luggage then roll to airport..

just sharing the info,

right outside train station, opposite KIX open till 8pm, 800 yen per piece.

JAL should be 750 yen piece for normal luggage.

There’s some coin locker but the one I went mostly taken.

took train to Rinku town and within the station there’s a shop and they charge ONLY 300 yen per luggage……..zzzzzz
open till 8pm as well.

so I wasted some time and money took train to KIX and deposit my luggage at 2 locations and took train back to rinku town

Uber is just taxi in Japan. no private cars. sure you can book those bigger taxis iirc
