Hi Yamaha,

I just bought a rx-v473 amp (firmware 1.09).

- Is it known that usb-ipad (ios5) music play has hanging issue?

i believe particularly so when doing quite a few of songs navigations while playing those songs with chinese wordings titles. It slows down, lags till finally the playing hangs / breaks constantly in a song.

By the way, I've changed my interest target to ysp-4300, after just finding out that it'll be released soon, complete with wireless subwoofer and slim profile.

So I'll wait for that to be released and i'll go test it

By the way, I've changed my interest target to ysp-4300, after just finding out that it'll be released soon, complete with wireless subwoofer and slim profile.

So I'll wait for that to be released and i'll go test it

FYI, YSP-3300/4300 will be Line-up of the sound projector & we have not yet confirm the official launch date for it.

YSP-2200 will not be replaced.

In the meanwhile, will PM you where you could audit the YSP-2200.

Is the AV section of Yamaha at Marina Square open?

Been there at 18th, 19th and 22th October all at around 3pm and the sign always says closed.

Apologise for being not able to attend to you.
While we do have representative there on 18 and 20 Oct, probably you just didnt came at the right timing as they may be out for late lunch. On 20 Oct, i was there at this timing as we have a customer who make purchase at that timing and the door is locked due to our customer are making payment on the other side of the entrance.

Currently I'm using RXV995 (Yamaha amp) and main floor spk (MS206), ctn spk (KEF SP3269), sub-woofer (Sherwood SP-312W) and rear spk (can't recall what model but is under MS series).
Is a 5.1ch and the system was 10over years but condition was still very good. Just love the way Yamaha amp look like.

I just bought a Samsung 40" 3D LED TV & a Samsung Blu-Ray 3D player (BD-E5900).
I try to link up the system but the sound was suck.
Was thinking of getting the RXV571 (5.1ch) or RXV673 (7.1ch) after some good reviews for both amps or is there any recommend that you can refer to. I hope to used back my old spk as it still look very new to me. Is a waste to sell / throw away.

RX-V571 are already discontinue, but if you still able to get the set ofcourse it will be a good deal. Due to RX-V571 are still serving the purpose of 3D, Audio Return Channel (ARC) Via HDMI & it support 7.1ch with HD audio decoder.

As for RX-V673, it's our lastest model with What's HiFi 5 star award winner. which have network receiver function, Airplay enable, AV controller on any smart mobile devices, support & upscale of 4K resolution via HDMI. It still does the purposes of 3D & Audio Return Channel (ARC). it support 7.2ch instead of 7.1ch.

So is your choice to choose.

*Do take note:
RX-V571 support 6ohms speakers.
RX-V673 support up to 8ohms speakers.

Do check your speaker power.

Yes, it does!

As mention earlier on, it supports 8ohms as well as the lower impedance of 6ohms.

RX-V673 is going @ $1049 usual price.

I intend to purchase a projector for my hall.
Is it possible to use the Sound Projector when it is mounted on the rear, i.e. on the side where the projector will be?

hello,

i bought the YSP2200 however as i was searching online for mainly 2 items,

1) My ID is saying bracket mount is ok which im not so sure as it will me mounted on my feature wall
2) While searching, it seems some people suggests placing the sound bar ABOVE the TV

Hope the experts can shed some lights to my doubts.
