Hi!

Great speakers you've got! Well, can i ask what budget you are looking at?

It also depends on the features that benefits you most.

Cheers!

Typically, I would use for movie home theatre using dvd/bluray and listening to music thru my ipod.

Need to mention that my rear speaker is 1.5 times the distance from my front speaker on where I am sitting, shd I plug it at the rear or side output when we have 7.1 av receiver?

Hi,

1. Is there any budget constrain?

2. From your speakers specifications, we would recommend 90 - 100w per channel amplification which cost estimated $1000 or more.

3. Rear speakers, are you referring to Surround or Surround back? If you are mentioning about 5.1 setup, it should be Surround. To have better surround envelopement, place surround on the side walls slightly behind your sweetspot will be ideal. If you are referring to 7.1 setup, same applies for Surround, but for Surround back, placing behing your sweetspot is the correct setup to achieve 7.1ch.

Cheers!

Hi, just to add. You may refer our GSS Promo on RXV1067. That might suit you with iPod features.

Cheers!

According to your diagram, i have mine installed at the back corner of the room. Since I can't undo that anymore, what would be your suggestion for this? should i assign that as side speaker or rear speaker?

Hi,

I bought the RX-V465 with the NS-P110 speaker set 2 years ago.
I would like to upgrade the speakers to full utilize the AV receiver.

One sales person recommended a pair of NS-F210 to replace two of it, but as the surrounding was noisy, I couldn't listen to it effectively.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

I suggest that you keep the current setup of 5.1 will do and assign that as your Surround Speakers.

Cheers!

If you wish to hear the demo, do drop by Courts Megastore which is nearest to EXPO to hear the actual unit.

New models launching soon:
1. AV Receiver RX-V371

2. AV Receiver RX-V471
3. AV Receiver RX-V571
4. Network Receiver RX-V671

Hi,

When will these new receivers be coming? And the prices? Im interested in RX-V371 and 471.

Currently I have RX-V363 and speakers NS-P270 bought 2 yrs ago. Do the above 2 receivers work well with the speakers? I need to upgrade my existing receiver for HD audio.

Thanks!! :)

Hi!

PMed you. It definitely will work with your NS-P270.

Both models featured HD-Audio.

Note if you need iPod USB, look into V471. If not, V371 will be a better choice.

Thank you for your support these years!

Cheers! :)

Hi sir,

Thanks for the reply. Glad to know that there's a yamaha section now for us in this forum.

Btw, is there any showroom for yamaha audio products and demo by its staff? Not those at best denki, harvey norman, courts or audio house.
