It doesnt mount properly. You require to glue onto it. And you need a large heatsink to cool it down.

Vrms are rated at 105deg. Technically speaking you will need a good heatsink output of 300w thermal design to cool it off.

Only 1 gpu has a unique heatsink and is in favor of the g10. And that is PCS+ cooler from powercolor.

They have 2 seperated heatsink. One for core, one for vrms.

Nowadays you can search EK blocks, full cover means vrm, memory and core nia.

There are other surface components which get slightly toasty too especially when we do extreme oc

These heatsinks come with thermal adhesive tape to hold it together. Well better than no heat sink if ts wants to try

Thermal adhesive tape also problem.. if too strong, will rip off ur VRM if u try to remove. Dun forget, they are all surface mounted, quite brittle. Second, the adhesive tap has weak thermal conductivity and will nt be effective in shifting the heat out of the VRm and into the heatsink.
