This one?
https://sg.carousell.com/p/asus-rt-ax86u-wifi-6-1021221382/

China version without local warranty. Take note you can buy China version at RMB1499 or S$300, plus GST and shipment, it will be about S$320.

Official Asus Tmall shop is selling at RMB1479 now.

Just had my 1Gbps upgraded to the 1+1Gbps Gamer Bundle.

1Gbps on port 1 to 3 and another 1Gbps on port 4 of my ONR.

Dual WAN works! I connected the ONR port 4 to my primary WAN and ONR port 1 to the secondary 2.5G WAN.

Really got faster speeds while doing speedtest.

Dual WAN is not the same as WAN Aggregation. What speed did you get anyway?

Tried the WAN aggregation but didn't work. There's an exclamation mark on the main router page.

1 x cable to WAN port and 1 x cable to port 4 as instructed.

Reset many times still cannot, gave up.

Now if i select Yes it looks like this.

Any singtel shop will do.

Thanks, got it yesterday. Online service really slow. Now my whole house is cover with just 1 wifi router. Even master bedroom which is 2 walls away also no problem. I stay in a condo, so the walls are thicker than hdb.

How much can i sell my tp-link ax50 bought in may. 3 years warranty minus about 5 month. Is 150 reasonable?

Good to know that AX86U works great.

I think it is reasonable to sell your 5 months local set of TP-Link AX50 with 3 year warranty at S$150. Or maybe you want to lower a bit. New set is about S$209.

Still it will depend on how the buyers value local warranty.

FYI: Korea new set is selling at S$159 in Shopee.

It will never work. Because your modem/ONT doesn't support 802.3ad

There is a Dual WAN function as well. Is the Load Balance mode useful and does it help to boost the speed?

WAN - Dual WAN
RT-AX86U provides Dual WAN support. Select Failover mode to use a secondary WAN for backup network access. Select Load Balance mode to optimize bandwidth, maximize throughput, minimize response time, and prevent data overload for both WAN connections.

No chance with local ISPs as the ONT/ONR do not support LACP IEEE 802.3ad.

[WAN] How to enable WAN Aggregation on RT-AX88U?

WAN Aggregation combines two Gigabit networks to increase the bandwidth up to 2 Gigabits. Please note that the modem connected to your RT-AX88U must support LACP-IEEE 802.3ad to make sure WAN Aggregation works.

However there is a report here for Starhub 2Gbps user (normally is dual 1Gbps plan, same for MyRepublic 1+1 plan)

https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/...ing-clinic-4/starhub-2gbps-fiber-6029696.html

heng ar
i asked for 5gbps multi-giga ONT network
now using full 2gbps on one pc

I believe last time M1 was giving 10Gbps ONT for 2Gbps and 5Gbps plan (and of course for 10Gbps plan).

Viewquest used to offer dual 1Gbps multi network plan, where people can use higher end MicrokTik router to get 2Gbps ( said to be using proprietary protocol and not 802.3ad). But this plan has been discontinued.

Not sure if the same Mikrotik can work with dual 1Gbps plan from Starhub, MyRepublic and SingTel. I guess SingTel will probably be more difficult (if not impossible) as one port got no VLAN and the other three ports got VLAN.

dual wan should be used to combine 2 different wan connections not link aggregation. link aggregation is strictly for LACP or static bonding only. dual wan will increase speedtest results beyond 1gbps also

Do you think it is possible with SingTel 1+1 plan? I believe the bridged ONR port has no VLAN and the other three ONR ports have no VLAN.

Or do you think the above VLAN thingy does not matter?
