Hey people,

The ASUS PadFone Infinity will be available in a week's time!

Who will be getting it?

Am really interested but a friend who has the padfone 2 has given me nothing but bad reviews about his padfone 2...

That is the only thing holding me back...

Price wise, it is like a normal high-end phone like the HTC One or Samsung S4...

PadFone Infinity smartphone (32GB)--S$898
PadFone Infinity smartphone (64GB)--S$998
PadFone Infinity station tablet attachment--S$368

Comments?

I noticed its batt is 2400mAh, and has Andriod 4.1, compared to S4: 2600mAh and Andriod 4.2.

Would these make any significant differences?

Boring~ No keyboard dock

IMO, padfone's phone size should remain below 4.5" above that defeat the purpose of it =/. This is what I think :S

Hmm.. strange.. I am using my Padfone2 for 6 months.. I have nothing but good review for this baby. software is stable and padstation is sturdy. Sharp IGZO lcd panel is one of the best.

Can't wait to upgrade to infinity

Padfone 2 is great.
I am rather attracted to infinity.

Only issue is Asus's OmG support in SG...
Took me 2 months of constant effort to get the issue resolved
when I reported it during the 2nd/3rd working day of purchase.
Sad to say, I sold it off immediately after resolution due to the bad experience.

Just bought the 64gb version and dock. Will report later on experience from a HTC One user. :)
Sold my S4 before and settled for One. See if this phone can change my mind.

Seriously this phone should be ranked amongst s4s and htc ones. Absolutely stunning.

It's really good....but the fact that it ideally has to be used together with it's pad brother (or be ridiculed by some :() means it will see a much smaller audience to those other models.

it can be used alone.

Noticed one thing comparing to my HTC One.
This thing seems to charge faster!
I started both from zero. Now HTC still 30%, Padfone already 45%!

HTC One throttle the charging to protect the battery?

More updates later on other stuffs as I am still testing it. :)

Of course it can be...but how many would get it without? :D

Because of this. It's HTC trying to be funny as usual.

Found another issue. No flash on padfone by default. On HTC One it was on by default.

How to install flash again?

Hi All,
For those who are thinking of getting PFI: Hardware is comparable to Xperia. The screen is sharp. Response is good. Software is stable for common apps. Accessories availablity is limited.
I wont say more as there are many reviews out there.

Have fun

How's the batt life ??

No subjective test but battery life is good. Also charging is faster than HTC ONE due to qualcomm optimisation.

The tablet is smooth and nice. And the weight is lighter than Ipads.
