Ahh, icic. How much did you get the Gmask for the Padfone 2 and the Padfone 2 Station for eh?
Only gmask my padfone. Cost me 49 bucks.. Nv did the pad station. I was quote 69 for pad station I think. Too ex and didnt got for it. I kinda regret Gmask it. If u need to send Ur phone for repair, it will be gone to waste.

Tried playing with a demo set yesterday and the photos seem to came with quite a bit of noise in it... and the phone feels a little warm after playing around with the camera for a little longer than 5 mins. But to be fair to the phone, I'm a noob in photography

Ah geez.. Decided not to go for Gmasking. Anyone know of any Padfone 2 casing out alr.? I don't like to use my phone while it's naked. Hahaha.

Personally, I bought a slot in leathery pouch that was supposed to be for S3. (S3 is slightly bigger than padfone 2 so any pouch that can fit S3 theoritically fits)

So far I encounter 2 problem:
1)I log into asus' webstorage with an existing account and it doesnt give me the free 50G storage.
2)The right side/end of my padstation is slightly loose and creaks a littleeeee bit when i hold onto that part. Left is fine =(
Planning to go for 1 on 1 exchange (hopefully can de done), already applied a customized $25 screen protector...

aiyo, when you didn't know you ask, so when you found out, you must tell how to take ss w/o longpress menu key mah....
not sure whether i want jelly bean or not cos after that, my htc.ime will not be able to work anymore.

Haha.. Sorry sorry, I assumed everyone knew as the way you took ss was the same as stock Android; long press power+ volume down button.
hmm when i was at their hand on session, it was not really that impressive but definitely its way better than pf1 that is for sure...
but the build its not really that sleek and fantastic...
still do not have that kind of professional sleek/metallic feel...

by sleek/metallic u mean like the iphone 5? but i hope at least its better than the plasticky feeling of the sgs3 and other range of their products right?
what's "professional and sleek/metallic feel" like? and what sort of build is "sleek and fantastic"? makes more sense to describe more or give examples. otherwise, might as well say it is just not as sensational feeling as a perfect phone and a tablet ought to be. the tapering front bottom is also a nice touch unlike rectangular slab that is the iphone. the travel and feel of the power buttons of both the iphone and pf2 are just as good too. And definitely, in general, the build is better on the pf2 than pf1, but then it has been so long since i last touched the pf1.
personally, i think the build is terrific, as good if not better than iphone. as for the tablet, no complaints either. for sure, i prefer the matte, soft back compared to the aluminium one of ipad and the buttons definitely are better than ipad.

encountered same prob as u. but mine is on the left. let me know if can 1 for 1 exchange.
another problem i face is with the whatapps. I dun receive msg till i open the app.
I faced the same problem but realized that need to set the pop up notification in the whtaspp setting... Now ok already...

Anyone know hong long it take to fully charged the padfone station without the padfone?
Asus should create LED light when charging or fully changed...
From a review, they say it takes about 3 hours for the station alone.
Just put in the fone when it is near 3 hours to check
